BMW of North America has just issued a recall for the new 2011 BMW X3. Produced at the factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the new X3 is facing a think over an issue with the command module in the electric power steering.

The malfunction may effect in a loss of power steering.

The recall affects the X3 models built betwixt April 27, 2011 and June 8, 2011, totaling 50 vehicles. The owners are being notified and the local dealerships will repair the command module free of charge.
